Manchester City: Pep Guardiola’s side will be expecting to start their season off in style. City’s pre-season has undoubtedly been a success. Benjamin Mendy will miss out Premier League’s opener due to thigh injury, meaning Walker and Danilo will start in the full-back positions. Gundogan has returned to first team training but is set to miss the opening few weeks of the season.

Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton & Hove Albion: Brighton are in the Premier League – for the first time ever. Brighton played well on home soil last term, but it remains to be seen how they will fare when facing some of England’s strongest sides. Beram Kayal will miss around two months of action through a broken fibula, while Sam Baldock and Solomon March are unlikely to play either.
