It’s been long Manchester City are the reigning champions of England and they could be playing final match as champions before relinquishing the title for Liverpool.
Manchester City hosts Burnley as we enter into the second gameweek of Premier League resumption. The Cityzens started on a high beating Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal 3-0 in the first game back, but even winning all of em’ won’t be enough if Liverpool keep on nudging them three points.
Pep Guardiola’s men outclassed Arsenal in the first game back, watching Manchester City back made us forget the last six months with Laporte bringing defensive stability back in the side. Maybe the lockdown proved blessing in disguise for us!
In Burnley, unlike Arsenal, Manchester City face one of leagues most prominent defence this campaign. The Clarets were dominant before the footballing activities in England were suspended, in a seven match unbeaten run, they won four of them which stretches back to second week of January. The run includes victory against Manchester United and points off both the North-London giants in Arsenal and Tottenham.
As easy it seems on paper, Burnley will be a tricky tie for the Blues from Manchester.
