Manchester City are reportedly among the four Premier League clubs closely watching Georgian forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The 22-year-old played in Georgia’s 3-1 loss to Spain in a Euro 2024 qualification clash this Sunday, where he was the lone goalscorer for his nation, scoring in the 10th minute of the game.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia joined Napoli from Dinamo Batumi in 2022 and has already made 58 appearances for the club. In the aforementioned number of games, he has been involved in a whopping 39 goals; assisting 22 and scoring 17.
Although the forward has his contract till 2027 with the Naples but the ongoing scouting in his latest international fixture has created an air of speculation amongst the clubs.
According to the reports, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Newcastle United were also seen scouting for the young talisman in the same game. Apart from the Premier League clubs, giants like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and PSG are amongst the many to be following the youngster.
He has also helped Georgia get one step closer to the European Championship of 2024 courtesy of his 15 goals and 7 assists in only 28 games for the country.
Napoli have no interest in selling the forward currently but a huge sum of money is never off the table. Both Manchester clubs are looking to add a striker by the end of this season and Khvicha may be shown plenty of interest by the two.
