We all know about the Asia tour Manchester City are going to have this summer on July 27 where they will face a Japanese side Yokohama FM at the Nissan stadium. But there is more for the grabs, especially if you are a Manchester City fan from Asia, mainly China.

The Premier League champions are going to feature in the Premier League Asia Trophy this summer in China and the Blues of Manchester will play alongside Wolves, West Ham and Newcastle United in the semi-final tie.

City will face either one of three rivals in the semi-final fixture in Nanjing on July 17 before travelling to Shanghai for the finals or third-place tie depending on the semi-final result. The teams are fixed, fixture yet to be decided.

The tournament that is held in alternative years was last won by the Merseyside club Liverpool in the year 2017. City last took part in the competition in the year 2013 and there are no second thoughts on who the winner would have been, yes it was the Blues of Manchester who are once again travelling east to cling on to the title, again.
