Seems like Kelechi Iheanacho is still a Citizen

Last year it was 100, this time can they score a whooping 98? Their form says yes so does their history. Manchester City somehow find a way to clinch 3 points in every game they play. Liverpool also do the same but it is City that have to win only a game now.

Manchester City made the closest step after winning against Leicester in a fierce encounter. From the very beginning, Pep Guardialo’s team Manchester City aimed to net the ball but couldnt accomplish until 70th minute goal.

Kompany’s unstoppable long range strike to the right top corner on 70th minute of the game led to 1-0 victory of the host at Eithad Stadium. The captain stood up when it mattered the most, when his team was not successful in hitting it from the boxes. It was one of those shots from Kompany that usually end up in the stands, but luckily for us, it screened the nets.

Leicester City having known were facing an formidable adversary , yet didnt lose hope and created multiple chances to score but were inadequate in finishing skill. The visitors could have stopped us for a draw if the former City man did not miss the easiest of chances.

Kelechi Iheanacho, brought as a substitute, missed the golden opportunity for an equaliser just ten minutes before the countdown. It could have resulted into a draw and would have given Liverpool an upper hand on the title.

I would regretfully yet happily thank Kelechi Iheanacho for not winning the title when with City but letting them clinch for second consecutive time. The 12th man for us was definitely our former midfielder. And now, only the test of Brighton has to be passed before we toast on drinks.
