Sergio Aguero, he already is Manchester City’s legend and is all set to don a legendary status for Argentina as well!
Aguero has won 96 caps for Argentina and if he features for La Albiceleste against Brazil & Uruguay during the break he would just be in touching distance to what he dreamed as a boy.
Kun made his debut for Argentina in 2006 against Brazil and has netted forty since (his career tally of professional goals is 408 in 739 matches).
When Manchester City’s official website asked Sergio about it, surprisingly he was unaware about closing in on century.
“I hadn’t realised!” said Sergio to City’s official website.
“Since I was very young, I dreamed of playing for the national team.
“It’s been a great source of pride to have so many games under my belt, ever since my first call-up for Argentina Under-17s when I was 15 years of age.
“Wearing the white-and-cerulean has been the greatest honour of my life and if I do get to 100 caps for my country, it will be an amazing moment in my career.”
