Luton Town host Manchester City at Kenilworth Road on a Sunday afternoon encounter. Man City are winless in their last-four games and Luton Town know that this is the best time they would want to face the champions. However, we also know how badly City bounce back when faced against the wall.
The Citizens lost their last game against Aston Villa in a way that no one would have ever imagined. Only two shots in the whole game! Yes, only two. For a club that usually makes threats in the opposition box in double digits, registering only 2 shots is a shame on itself.
Manchester City were without Jeremy Doku, Jack Grealish, and Rodri, which cost them three points. Whilst Grealish and Rodri will be back in the team, Doku too is certain to recover till 11th December.
Rodri’s return to the playing eleven probably means that Rico Lewis will find his spot back warming the bench.
Luton would be without Man City loanee Issa Kabore who is ineligible to play the encounter. Reece Burke will also miss the encounter vying to a thigh injury.
Luton Town 1 – Manchester City 3
The treble winners have not won their last four games and with only 3 points in those matches, Guardiola would be hungry for more points. Manchester City however haven’t been their best self and Luton sure would possess a few minor hiccups here and there.
