Sergio Aguero’s final season

The announcement of Kun’s departure has hit the whole premier league family with many fans paying tribute to a true legend.

Injuries have worried him over the last two seasons and as a result, he has managed only 14 appearances in all competitions this season. He has still managed 3 goals this season and he will be looking to add to that tally.

Silverware is still up for grabs with the Premier League, FA Cup, League cup, and UCL all in play between now and the end of May. A good send-off for the Argentine would be the elusive Champions League trophy.

On Aguero’s part, he would love to remain fit going into the run-in and also boosting his chances of securing a contract with another team when he finally leaves.

It is difficult to see him leave the club after 181 goals in the Premier League alone. Every game he plays over the next few months will be treated as his last. Fans are expected back for the final games of the season and the farewell will be more emotional and befitting with the loving fans, both City and opponents, paying tributes to a man whose name can be mentioned with PL legends like Alan Shearer, Wayne Rooney, Thierry Henry and Didier Drogba.

The last of the true strikers who turned the league on its head in the 2010s may be on his way out of the league. Hopefully, he gets the send-off he well and truly deserves.

Forever and ever……….. Agueeerrrrrrrrrooooooooooo will continue to live in our memory.
