Man City Injury News and Update

Manchester City stars that could return against Arsenal

Premier League is set to return to action in just 8 days!

Manchester City will take on Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium in the freshly reopened league on June 17 before commencing first full game-weekend on the 19th.

The Blues from Manchester have been left behind in their chase to catch Liverpool and will be looking to secure second place in the Premier League table.

At the start of the 19/20 campaign, Manchester City were strong favourites to retain their Premier League title but injuries to star players have hindered their progress with Liverpool getting better off.

Ahead of the game against Arsenal, City appear to have a clean bill of health as the players are likely to be available after recovering from their respective injuries.

Aymeric Laporte, who has missed most of the season is fit again following hamstring problem he suffered before the lockdown and should be available to play against Arsenal.

Leroy Sane has been sidelined for a long time after having damaged his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) against Liverpool in Community Shield. However, the German returned to training and is available to play his first game of this season against the Gunners.

John Stones and Kevin De Bruyne missed the final game before the suspension with their respective knock but will be back available when Premier League resumes.
