Manchester City sign an 18-year-old young Croatian, Ante Palaversa

Manchester City have officially made a deal with Ante Palaversa, an 18-year-old defensive midfielder from Croatia. The Hajduk Split midfielder was announced as a signing by the club on deadline day.

Croatian U-19 captain is reported to have been signed for a fee in region around £7 million. A long-term replacement for Fernandinho, Palaversa will be joining City from the start of next season, until then he will play on loan for his hometown club.

The young playmaker was all praises for the club and said, ”I’m Hajduk’s saying, playing at the Poljud was always my dream, and after all, I’m happy to see the work of the Hajduk Academy recognized one of the biggest clubs in the world.”

“Thanks to Manchester City on the trust, there is still a lot of work ahead for me, I have not yet shown all I can and I hope to play for Hajduk to justify the great trust I received from English champions.”

Manchester City, however will not be able to enjoy the services of youngster till January 2020, but would be eyeing to improve his game by playing regularly for his homeland. The player has been tremendous for Hajduk, and if he continues the regular show, City will be blessed to have a long-term replacement they have been seeking.
