As reported by Mirror there’s ongoing talk Premier League leaders and Newcastle United about taking Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala on loan.
The 26-year-old Mangala has been a target for Rafa Benitez since the summer.
City will hoping Newcastle to pay the majority of Mangala’s £80,000-a-week wage.
Eliaquim Mangala joined City back in 2014. Last season he enjoyed a good spell at Valencia on loan and has played nine league matches for City this season, but now looks close to joining Newcastle.
