Manchester City could lose another young starlet in Rabbi Matondo

Days after the exit of Spanish international(U-21) Brahim Diaz, rumours have followed of another young sensation leaving the club, Manchester City in near future. Rabbi Matondo, an 18-year-old Wales international has declined to sign a new contract with Manchester City which has raised attention of Bundesliga clubs.

The quartet of German clubs are eyeing a move for the Welshman. Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Borussia Monchengladbach and RB Leipzig are interested in Rabbi Matondo. He has only 18 more months of his contract in Manchester City, ceasing to which he will be a free transfer.

If Manchester City lose this young prodigy it will be their third player moving in a span of a year. First, Jadon Sancho moving to Borussia Dortmund and Brahim Diaz moving to Real Madrid this January. While Sancho has already lit up Bundesliga with his stunning performances in the domestic cup, Pep would not want to miss another potential future star.

The 18-year-old has been included in Pep’s first-team training and was also capped Wales international place, recently in November which speaks it for Matondo that how good he is at such a young age. The Welsh international has impressed one and all with his performances in UEFA Youth club playing for City and was also watched by the clubs like Bayern and Dortmund during his play against Hoffenhiem.

City would not want to lose another young starlet and should sign a new contract as soon as possible to avoid his exit. The Brightest academy prospect of Manchester City has caught eyes of many clubs thus making it obvious for the club to sign a new term for the youngster.
